Idly Kadai release date postponed from Tamil New Year to Dussehra 2025
Dropping out of the Tamil New Year race, Idly Kadai starring and directed by Dhanush has postponed its previously scheduled April 10 release by 6 months. It was officially announced on Friday that the new Idly Kadai release date is October 1, 2025.
Idly Kadai is now headed for a 5-day opening weekend during Dussehra 2025; The movie releases on a Wednesday that marks the Aayudha Pooja holiday, followed by the Vijayadasami / Gandhi Jayanti Thursday on October 2, 2025.
