ISL 2024-25: Odisha FC boss Sergio Lobera’s red card gets revoked

Odisha FC on Sunday confirmed that head Coach Sergio Lobera’s red card, which he received during Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 match against NorthEast United FC has been rescinded.

The Spanish tactician already served a touchline ban against FC Goa due to accumulation of yellow cards.

This revocation means the head coach will be available on the sidelines for the OFC’s crucial game against Punjab FC on February 10.

The Juggernauts are currently seventh in the table with 25 points from 19 matches. Only the top six teams will qualify for the playoffs and Lobera’s team still has a chance to make it to the knockouts with five game remaining.

This is Lobera’s third stint in Indian football. Previously, he has managed FC Goa and Mumbai City FC.
