Perusu: OTT release date of Vaibhav’s latest film
Actor Vaibhav reunited with director Karthik Subbaraj’s production banner this year for a movie titled Perusu. Written and directed by Ilango Ram, based on his own Sinhalese black comedy Tentigo (2023), Perusu released in theaters on March 14, 2025 and is now all set for a digital premiere.
It was officially announced on Friday that Perusu‘s OTT release date is April 11, 2025. Perusu will stream on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Also starring Vaibhav’s real-life brother Sunil Reddy, Perusu revolves around the funeral of an elderly man, whose two sons are dismayed to find his erect penis.
How the brothers attempt to conceal the situation discreetly, are forced to confront their strained relationship, and reveal their deceased father’s love life, is what forms the rest of the movie. Perusu is a joint production venture of Stone Bench Studios, Baweja Studios, and Emberlight Studio.
