Prashanth 55 reunites director Hari with his debut film actor!
Prashanth 55 (tentative title) is a new Tamil movie that was announced marking actor Prashanth’s 52nd birthday on Sunday. Prashanth is reuniting with director Hari on this film, which will be produced by Prashanth’s father and veteran filmmaker Thiagarajan.
2024 was a big year for actor Prashanth with two memorable appearances in movies like Andhagan (lead), and The Greatest of All Time (supporting act). Director Hari’s last film was also in 2024 titled Raththam starring Vishal, Priva Bhavani Shankar.
Prashanth 55 is director Hari’s second film with Prashanth, after the director’s debut movie Tamizh (2002). Previously, Hari had also worked as an AD on the Prashanth starrer Parthen Rasithen (2000).
