Ravi to team up with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vetrimaaran

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s last Tamil release, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha (2024) failed to work with the Tamil cine audience. The filmmaker has since ventured into Malayalam with the Mammootty starrer Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse (2025). Now, Gautham Menon has revealed that his next film in Tamil is with actor Ravi Mohan. 

Speaking to a Tamil YouTube channel, Gautham Menon has said that actor Ravi, director Vetrimaaran and himself have sat for a discussion on a project that will be directed by him. This film’s idea is director Vetrimaaran’s who thought of it in 2012-2013 timeline but didn’t get the chance to bring it to fruition. 

Gautham Menon has said that since Vetrimaaran’s storyline is relevant to date, the filmmaker has asked Gautham Vasudev Menon to direct it with Ravi Mohan. Official announcements on the same can be expected sometime in the near future.
