Test OTT Release: R Madhavan, Nayanthara And Siddharth’s Tamil Human Drama To Stream On Netflix From THIS Date

R Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth’s Test is heading to OTT. This Tamil sports drama will start streaming on Netflix from April 4. With more films opting for digital releases, the makers have chosen this route to reach a wider audience

Directed by S Sashikanth, Test marks his debut as a filmmaker. He has previously produced hit Tamil films like Tamizh Padam, Vikram Vedha, Irudhi Suttru, and Jagame Thandhiram. It would be interesting to see his take as a director.

Sharing the release date, Netflix wrote on Instagram, “Namma vaazhkaila thiruppu munaiya oru tharunam varum. Adhuku per dhan TEST. Watch TEST on 4 April in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, only on Netflix!”

The film brings together a strong cast, with Nayanthara, Madhavan, and Siddharth in lead roles. The story revolves around Test cricket, with Siddharth as a cricketer and Madhavan as a coach. It’s an emotional drama about a national-level cricketer, a scientist, and a teacher whose paths cross, pushing them to make life-changing choices.

Test won’t just be limited to Tamil audiences. It will also be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, making it accessible across India.

Nayanthara was last seen in Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and in the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale. She will next appear in Kannappa, sharing screen space with Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Kajal Aggarwal.

Madhavan, who starred in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and The Railway Men, has Kesari Chapter 2 and De De Pyaar De lined up.

After Indian 2, Siddharth has 3BHK and Indian 3 coming up.
