Bento pulls off yet another superb save. He has been as important as Duran for Al Nassr tonight.

Duran makes it three for Al Nassr. A brilliant interception from Brozovic sets up Duran, who ran from inside his own half and goes past two defender and then slots it home with exceptional calmness. 

Al Ahli gets a corner. 

Mahrez gets the ball on his preferred left foot on the edge of the box with space but fails to keep his effort on target. 

What a response from the 10-man of Al Nassr. Ayman Yahya gives visiting team the lead. 

Ivan Toney finally equalises with a header from Gabri Veiga’s cross from the left flank. 

This is his 10th goal of the league season for the Englishman.

Bento pulls off yet another massive save. This time he denies his compatriot Galeno, who made a galloping run from the left flank and shoots from the edge of the six yard box. 

Demiral wins a corner for Al Ahli and almost scores the equaliser from the resulting set piece. 

Things are hotting up inside the stadium. Both sides are going in for every tackle with intensity and the fans are going wild. 

Aljohani gets a yellow card. 

Al Nassr wins a corner but fails to work the Al Ahli goalkeeper. 

After a very lengthy VAR check, the goal has been disallowed. The referee was suggested to go over to watch the replay and he decided that Toney pulled the jersey of a defender during the build-up. WHAT DRAMA!!!!!

Mohamed Simakan is showed a straight red for throwing an elbow on Ivan Toney. 

VAR is checking the incident. 

Al Ahli off the blocks with a bang. Ali Majrashi with a telling touch equalises for the host. 

The second half begins in Jeddah.

Al Nassr substitution: Ali Lajami replaces injured Sultan Al-Ghannam

Mahrez makes a well-timed run and shots from the right flank but his attempt is expertly denied by Bento’s outstretched hands. 

Nassr’s Sultan Al-Ghannam is also down with a hamstring injury and he will have to come off. Big blow for the visitors before the half time. 

Brozovic wins the ball back and launches a counter but fails to fins Mane. 

Al Ahli wins the first corner of the match but fails to take advantage of the set piece. 

Jhon Duran with a brilliant finish give Al Nassr the lead. The Colombian strikes the ball from the edge of the box after a swift one-two with Sadio Mane and finds the bottom left corner. 

Ziyad Aljohani is down with what looks like a wrist injury.

Toney tries to catch Bento off guard with a over 40 yard attempt but fails to keep it on target.

Bento was fairly out of his goal and watches the ball fly over his goal. 

Al Nassr substitution: Ayman is coming on for Otavio. 

Mane with a shoulder charge brings down Galeno and Al Ahli players appeals for a penalty but the referee is unmoved. 

Otavio is down holding the back of his hamstring. He’s receiving treatment on the pitch. 

Bento almost produces a howler. A loose pass from the AL Nassr goalie is intercepted by Galeno and Kessie almost scores from Toney’s cut back. 

Kessie somehow managed to miss and fortunately for him, the off-side flag was raised. 

Mane with a tough tackle on Mahrez. The referee refrains from going to his pocket. Just a free-kick for Al Ahli. 

Mahrez floats in a beautiful ball for Gabri Veiga in the centre of the box but Spaniard fails to make a good contact. 

Incredible atmosphere inside the stadium as both set of fans are cheering hard for their respective teams. 

A brilliant ball over the top from Demiral finds Mahrez, who puts it in the back of the net but the off-side flag is raised. 

Al Ahli goes on attack with Mahrez but he’s adjourned off-side. 

Kessie stops the ball with hand unintentionally. Another free-kick for the visitors. 

Mane is fouled near the half way line. Al Nassr gets the first free-kick of the match. 

The Saudi Pro League 2024-25 match between Al Ahli and Al Nassr is under way.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr will be looking to revive their chase for the Saudi Pro League 2024-25 title when it travels to face Al Ahli at the King Abdullah Sports City on Thursday.

After winning its four consecutive matches, Ronaldo’s side is currently third in the table with 41 points, eight behind Al Ittihad and four below Al Hilal in first and second, respectively.

Al Nassr’s new recruit Jhon Duran scored twice in their last game, while Ronaldo netted once to take his league tally to 16.
