Full and flicked by Inglis and it just goes over the deep midwicket fielder for a maximum. Australia win by five wickets and complete the highest successful run-chase in ICC Champions Trophy history.
Archer continues. Yorker to begin the over and Maxwell digs it out for a single. SIX! Short now and pulled behind square-leg by Inglis for another maximum.
FOUR! This assault doesn’t relent. Maxwell stays in his crease and carts this through cover to the boundary. OUT! Full toss and Maxwell is caught at deep square-leg. Umpires are checking if that was over the waist. Maxwell still in the middle. That has been ruled as a waist-high no-ball by the third umpire and Maxwell survives. Nothing going England’s way.
There is some confusion in the middle as to who is supposed to be on strike. It is Maxwell who returns to take strike. SIX! And he adds injury to insult as he launches this full delivery over long-on for another big maximum.
Just 34 needed now from 30 balls. This has been some stunning display of ball hitting from Inglis.
Wood is back. Buttler is having a long chat with him. A near-impossible task now for England. FOUR! Hard-length on leg-stump, and Maxwell makes room outside off to crash this through cover. SIX! This is getting ridiculously easy now. Maxwell shuffles across the stumps and pulls this over fine-leg for half a dozen runs.
With just 44 needed from 36, this is now Australia’s game to lose. Archer with the ball. Flicked to mid-on for a single by Inglis, who moves to 98. Swatted to deep midwicket by Maxwell for one more. Just 57 needed from 42. Carse continues. SIX! Inglis swivels and pulls and clears the boundary behind square. SIX! Back-to-back maximums for Inglis. This is outrageous. He reverse scoops Carse over the third-man fielder.
Wood comes back. Guided to point by Inglis for a couple. Huge appeal for lbw as Wood gets the ball to nip back in and rap Inglis on the front pad. But this looked like it was missing leg-stump and not given. Buttler signals it may have been too high also.
FOUR! Maxwell is off the mark with a boundary. This was wide outside off and Maxwell got down on one knee to spank this to the long-off boundary. FOUR! Consecutive boundaries for Maxwell. He chips this over mid-on and this is getting easier for Australia.

Livingstone comes back. Australia needs just 87 runs in the last 10 overs. FOUR! Pulled down the ground by Carey for a boundary. Swept by Carey next ball behind square for one more. Punched off the backfoot through cover by Inglis and that has stung Buttler’s fingers; just a single. Seven runs from the over.
Rashid bowls out. Just four singles from the over and Rashid bowls out with figures of 1/47 in 10 overs. Top stuff from the leggie but England in a real spot of bother now.
Archer continues. That dropped catch will stay be playing in mind and he will hope to make amends with ball. FOUR! Inglis has reverse scooped this to the third-man boundary. FOUR! Consecutive boundaries for Inglis as he flicks this behind square-leg and Livingstone’s dive can’t stop the ball. Loose short ball down leg-side and pulled behind by Inglis for two more. That will be given leg-byes.
Rashid into his ninth over. Full on middle stump and swung away by Carey for a couple through midwicket. Pulled to wide long-on by Carey for one more. Googly from Rashid and punched by Inglis to long-on for another single. Dropped! Archer drops a sitter at deep midwicket as Carey pulls this rank short ball straight to the fielder. Carey also gets to his 50 off 49 balls with a couple of runs.
Archer will continue. Australia needs 111 runs to win from 84 balls and it is very much game on in Lahore!
Full and pushed to mid-on by Carey for a quick single. Inglis goes for a reverse scoop but only makes contact with air. A single at point for Inglis and just two runs off the first four balls of this over. Short and guided off the backfoot by Carey for one more.
Excellent over from Archer with just three singles coming from it. The required run rate now 8.30.
Rashid will continue. Thick inside edge for Inglis and he almost chops on. He collects three runs behind the stumps to bring up a 100-run stand with Carey.

Wood continues. FOUR! Full and driven through point by Inglis to the boundary. Two more for Inglis with a late cut to the third-man region. He moves to 49. Wood asks for some sawdust with dew around.
Inglis brings up his half-century off 41 balls with a single.
Carse comes back into the attack. Around the wicket to Carey. FOUR! Short and wide and cut away aerially over cover-point by Carey for four runs. FOUR! Short again and this is pulled away by Carey to the deep midwicket boundary. Time for a drinks break.
Wood continues. LBW appeal but Inglis will survive as this was missing leg-stump. England doesn’t review it either. FOUR! Full on the pads and whipped away through square-leg by Inglis for a boundary. That’s 200 on the board for Australia in 30.5 overs.
Root again. FOUR! Root gives Inglis room outside off as he comes around the wicket. Inglis rocks back and punches the ball through cover and mid-off to find the boundary.
Meanwhile, Archer has returned to the field of action.

Archer has walked off the field and a substitute is on for him. Eight runs from the over and the batters do it with ones and twos.
SIX! Tossed up on leg-stump and Inglis clears his front leg to deposit this over long-on for a maximum. Inglis getting a move on here. Full on off-stump and confidently driven through cover by him for another boundary.

Alex Carey comes in next. Carey brings out the reverse-sweep to collect a couple behind point.
Matthew Short c & b Liam Livingstone 63 (66b 9×4 1×6)
Maiden over from Rashid. There is a loud appeal for lbw off the last ball as Rashid gets the ball to skid through and catches Inglis in front of the stumps off the backfoot. England doesn’t review. That could have been tight.
Livingstone with the ball again. Six runs from the over. Inglis ends the over with a paddle sweep but finds the short fine-leg fielder.
OUT! Marnus slaps this straight to the cover fielder as Rashid gives him room outside off-stump.
Josh Inglis comes out to the middle. FOUR! Short from Rashid and Inglis rocks back and cuts this to the boundary to open his account. Inglis races to 7 off 4 balls by the end of the over as he adopts a positive approach against spin.

Rashid continues. The leg-spinner continues his economical spell. Just six runs coming from the over and no boundaries.
FOUR! Too full from Carse and beautifully driven through cover by Short for a boundary. Going down leg-side, called a wide, but the wicketkeeper thinks Short got some time on that. England will go upstairs. There is nothing on UltraEdge as the ball passes the bat and England has thrown away a review. FOUR! Full on the pads and whipped away by Short to the boundary. Short gets to his fifty off 47 balls and it is also 100 up for Australia in 14.5 overs.
Rashid continues. He keeps it tight, with just two singles coming from the over.
