Coolie: Pooja Hegde on comparisons with Jailer’s Kaavaalaa
Actress Pooja Hegde who was revealed to be part of Rajinikanth’s Coolie, has now officially confirmed that she is making an appearance for just one song in the movie. A Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, Coolie is a Sun Pictures production with Anirudh Ravichander for music.
The Anirudh-Sun Pictures combo previously placed an item song titled Kaavaalaa in the Rajinikanth starrer Jailer (2023), which went on to become a viral hit. Actress Tamannaah’s seductive dance in Kaavaalaa had become a talking point as well. When asked if her own song would be another Kaavaalaa in Coolie, Pooja Hegde has this to say:
Coolie also stars Shruthi Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Upendra, among others. Recently Updendra confirmed that he has a combination scene with Nagarujuna, and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan who also makes a cameo appearance in Coolie.
