Coolie: Rajinikanth gets hyped in a new teaser video!
Coolie starring Rajinikanth in the lead is a Tamil language multi-starrer that is set to release in theaters on August 14, 2025. With exactly 100 days left for Coolie‘s release, production banner Sun Pictures has now released a new video with a hype song playing the background for the Superstar.
The lyrics unveiled in the new Coolie teaser go, “Arangam Adhirattume, Whistle Parakkattume Now, Karangal Osaratume, Take-Over —-paapome Now, Cu Cu Coolie Power House-u, Ennaikum Koraiyadha Mouse-u, (whistle) Un mela yezhasugalukum, persukagalukum, podusugalukum, —galukum, —galukum, Love-su. Coolie marks the maiden collaboration of almost 75 Rajinikanth’s, with the new-gen writer, director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie is touted to be an action thriller and has Rajini play a character named Deva.
Starring alongside Rajinikanth in Coolie are Nagarjuna as Simon, Upendra as Kaleesha, Soubin Shahir as Dayal, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Monisha Blessy, Pooja Hegde in a special song appearance, and Aamir Khan in a cameo.
Coolie has Anirudh Ravichander for music, Girish Gangadharan for cinematography, and Philomin Raj for edits.
