FA Cup 5th round draw: Manchester United to take on Fulham, City to face Plymouth
The FA Cup holder Manchester United will take on Fulham in the fifth round of the competition, while Manchester City will host Plymouth Argyle.
The matches will be played on the weekend of Saturday, March 1.
In another all-Premier League fixture, Newcastle United will face Brighton and Hove Albion at St. James’ Park.
The biggest upset of the competition came on Sunday when Championship’s bottom-placed side Plymouth Argyle stunned Premier League leader Liverpool 1-0. Meanwhile, the Manchester clubs secured identical 2-1 wins over Leyton Orient and Leicester City to progress into the fifth round.
Chelsea on the other hand, went down 1-2 to Brighton.
Clubs victorious in the fifth round will receive £115,000 from the competition’s prize fund.
