Kollywood Voices Patriotism: Tamil Celebs Tweet After Operation Sindoor

Early Wednesday, between 1:05 AM to 1:30 AM to be precise, India under the ruse of a drill operation, launched a 24-missile air-strike attack on Pakistan, and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, killing over 70 terrorists and injuring over 60.

Code-named ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s 25-minute attack on Pakistan comes 15 days after the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack, in which 26 innocent civilian men–25 tourists and a local pony rider–were gunned down in broad day-light, in Jammu and Kashmir.

Operation Sindoor, code-named after the red vermillion Indian Hindu women wear on their forehead, is said to be a symbolic ode to the widows of the Pahalgam terrorist attack victims. The Tamil film industry, also known as Kollywood, voice its patriotism, as new broke of India’s air-strikes, and the whole nation standing with the Indian Armed Forces.

Celebrities like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, AR Rahman, Vijay, Sivakarthikeyan, Anirudh Ravichander, Dhanush, and more tweeted in praise of the Indian Army, and the country’s strategy of firing all of its missiles from Indian airspace.
