The BCCI has announced the full Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 schedule on Sunday, February 16 with Kolkata Knight Riders hosting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the opening game.
The Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play its opening match against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at Vishakapatnam.
In its first two seasons in the IPL, LSG finished third in the league stage and exited the tournament after losing the Eliminator. Last campaign, it finished seventh in the points table.
Each team will play 14 matches during the league phase, which comprises a total of 70 matches. The playoffs will be held from May 20 to May 25. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will take place on May 20 and 21, respectively, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The tournament will conclude at the iconic Eden Gardens, with Qualifier 2 and the final being held in the city of Kolkata.
