Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning gets early release in India

Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is a Hollywood spy action film, that comes as a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023). Eighth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, MI8 The Final Reckoning, is all set to have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this May 14, 2025. 

 

At this time, Paramount India has announced that Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will release in India on May 17, 2025 in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages. In the US, MI8 releases only on May 23, 2025. 

Based on an eponymous television series created by Bruce Geller, that ran between 1966-1973, the Mission: Impossible film series (1996-2025) recurrently has Tom Cruise playing Ethan Hunt, an elite IMF agent who takes on dangerous covert missions. Tom Cruise’s jaw-dropping stunts with no doubles has popularized the MI franchise as a cornerstone of action cinema.   

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning follows Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) as he goes on a mission with his team to try and stop a man named Gabriel (Esai Morales), before he can obtain an AI program that can weaken the world’s stability. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is written by Erik Jendresen, Christopher McQuarrie, and directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
