The Mariners have already rewritten records by reaching 49 points from 21 outings — the highest tally by any side in ISL history — and are now on the verge of making history as the first club to win back-to-back league titles.
Mohun Bagan currently holds a seven-point lead over second-placed FC Goa (42 points from 21 matches) and requires just three more points to clinch the title.
