The trailer of the Tamil gangster drama Thug Life is set to drop on May 17, 2025, at 5 PM, and will run for 2 minutes and 3 seconds. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the trailer is expected to offer a powerful glimpse into the film’s intense and emotional storyline.
The film marks a grand reunion between Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, nearly 38 years after their iconic film Nayakan (1987). Kamal Haasan leads an ensemble cast featuring Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Sanya Malhotra, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Saraf, and others.
The film’s music is composed by A.R. Rahman, who will also perform live during the audio launch on May 24, 2025, at Sairam College in Chennai.
Thug Life will have its worldwide theatrical release on June 5, 2025.
