ATP Rankings: Qatar Open champion Rublev moves up to 9th, runner-up Draper jumps to 12th
Andrey Rublev moved up to ninth in the latest ATP Rankings released on Monday after winning his second Qatar Open title.
The Russian defeated Britain’s Jack Draper 7-5, 5-7, 6-1 in the final in Doha on Saturday. As a result, he gained one spot.
Despite the defeat, the 23-year-old Draper jumped four spots to a new career-high of 12th.

Czechia’s Jiri Lehecka, who stunned World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals before going down to Draper in the final-four clash, moved up three spots to a new career-high of 22nd.
Argentina’s Sebastian Baez stayed at the 31st spot after successfully defending his Rio Open title. His compatriots Camilo Ugo Carabelli and Francisco Comesana, who lost in the semifinals, made massive jumps to new career-highs of 69th and 67th, respectively.
Elsewhere in the Top 100, Frenchmen Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (29th) and Alexandre Muller (41st), Spain’s Pedro Martinez (36th), Belgium’s Zizou Bergs (56th) and Raphael Collignon (98th), Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic (71st) and Portugal’s Jamie Faria (87th) achieved new career-high rankings.
