Afghanistan registered its highest total in any 50-over ICC events during its Champions Trophy 2025 match against England in Lahore on Wednesday.
Opener Ibrahim Zadran smacked 177 off 146 balls and took Afghanistan to 325 for seven, going past its previous best score of 291 for five against Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup in Mumbai.
During the innings, Zadran became the first Afghanistan batter to score a century in the Champions Trophy.
