DC in WPL 2025: Delhi Capitals’ road to the Women’s Premier League final
Delhi Capitals secured its spot in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 final after finishing on top of the points table.
This will be DC’s third consecutive WPL final. The team finished as runner-up the last two seasons, losing to Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
The Meg Lanning-led side will face 2023 champion MI once again in the summit clash, hoping to clinch the elusive WPL title. Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Giants in the eliminator to reach its second final.
With five wins from three matches and a net run rate of +0.396, DC held on to its spot at the top of the WPL points table to sail into the final.
