Kashvee Gautam comes into the attack for Ash Gardner. Kashvee to Sutherland, OUT! Kashvee strikes instantly. Over the wicket, pitched away from the batter who looked to play away from the body but ended up nudging it and Mooney took an impressive catch to complete the wicket.

Ash Gardner continues from one end. Rodrigues takes a single off the first delivery, taking DC to the 100-run mark. Gardner to Jonassen, SIX! Jonassen is in a hurry! Short-pitched delivery, angling in for the left-hander and she pulled towards deep square leg with disdain. Another over with 10 coming from it.
Deandra Dottin is back into the attack. Jemimah Rodrigues starts the over with a single on third man. Dottin from around the wicket to left-hander Jonassen. Another single. Open field is on offer for both the batters and they are finding no real difficulties to farm the strike here. FOUR! Jonassen ends the over with a boundary. Down the leg, slow delivery and the left-hander just guides it towards fine leg. 10 off the over.
Gardner to Shafali. Takes a hit on the helmet and a concussion check is complete. Shafali retaliates with FOUR and SIX! Meghna Singh into the attack. Shortish and angling away, Jonassen slaps it past backward point who gets a hand on it. A couple of singles and Jonassen connects this time. FOUR! Lofted over mid-on. Eight runs off the over and DC is picking up the pace.

Skipper Gardner replaces Kashvee. Jonassen moves behind and finds the gap behind mid wicket for FOUR! Another FOUR! Cuts between point and backward point. FOUR! Shafali joining in. Steps forward and sweeps it over square leg.
SIX! Pulled over square leg for the first maximum of the innings. Dottin strikes back on the next ball. Going down leg and Mooney collects it with a caught-behind appeal. Dottin continues. Back of a length and slides in on Lanning’s thigh pad. Cuts to point and scampers down for a single. Bouncer! But Shafali judges it the next time and flicks it back for FOUR! Six coming off the over.
