DROPPED! Mariaanne Kapp handed a reprieve. Kashvee was running backwards and couldn’t geta a good grip. Tanuja not letting the Capitals run away wuth the game just as yet. FOUR! Jonassen whacks it over long off for a much-needed one-bounce boundary. DC still needs a run to win.
Kashvee Gautam comes into the attack for Ash Gardner. Kashvee to Sutherland, OUT! Kashvee strikes instantly. Over the wicket, pitched away from the batter who looked to play away from the body but ended up nudging it and Mooney took an impressive catch to complete the wicket.

Class batting from the Australian. Kanwar to Rodrigues, OUT! Kanwar strikes but it perhaps will be too late too little from her. Flight on offer and Rodrigues mistimes her shot and hits straight to Bharti Fulmali at mid-off. Annabel Sutherland is the new batter in. She gets off the mark with a single. 6 runs and a wicket from this over as DC needs 13 off 42 deliveries.
Ash Gardner continues from one end. Rodrigues takes a single off the first delivery, taking DC to the 100-run mark. Gardner to Jonassen, SIX! Jonassen is in a hurry! Short-pitched delivery, angling in for the left-hander and she pulled towards deep square leg with disdain. Another over with 10 coming from it.
Deandra Dottin is back into the attack. Jemimah Rodrigues starts the over with a single on third man. Dottin from around the wicket to left-hander Jonassen. Another single. Open field is on offer for both the batters and they are finding no real difficulties to farm the strike here. FOUR! Jonassen ends the over with a boundary. Down the leg, slow delivery and the left-hander just guides it towards fine leg. 10 off the over.
Gardner to Shafali. Takes a hit on the helmet and a concussion check is complete. Shafali retaliates with FOUR and SIX! Nicely tossed up on a length, Shafali whacks over deep-midwicket, longer boundary side. Punishes the width ball and clubs it over cover. OUT! Half an appeal from Gardner a=but umpire gives it. Shafali takes the review but it goes in vain.

Priya Mishra with the ball. Tossed up wide and Shafali smacks it back to Priya who thought she had caught her. SIX! Jonassen lunges forward slogs it over deep mid-wicket. SIX! This time, Shafali. Targets the shorter side and nails an inside out over extra cover.
Meghna Singh into the attack. Shortish and angling away, Jonassen slaps it past backward point who gets a hand on it. A couple of singles and Jonassen connects this time. FOUR! Lofted over mid-on. Eight runs off the over and DC is picking up the pace.

Skipper Gardner replaces Kashvee. Jonassen moves behind and finds the gap behind mid wicket for FOUR! Another FOUR! Cuts between point and backward point. FOUR! Shafali joining in. Steps forward and sweeps it over square leg.
SIX! Pulled over square leg for the first maximum of the innings. Dottin strikes back on the next ball. Going down leg and Mooney collects it with a caught-behind appeal. Umpire was also convinced that Shafali had an edge but a quick review showed otherwise. FOUR! Length ball from Dottin and Shafali comes down the track to strike it past mid wicket.
Kashvee. Shafali with no timing and strikes it high up but a diving Litchfield cannot complete the catch. Lanning on strike and OUT! Back of a length ball angling in, Lanning misses the swipe and is bowled.

FOUR! Jonassen with a lucky boundary that flies past slips. FOUR more! Jonassen spots the gap at deep mid-wicket and strikes it perfectly.
Dottin continues. Back of a length and slides in on Lanning’s thigh pad. Cuts to point and scampers down for a single. Bouncer! But Shafali judges it the next time and flicks it back for FOUR! Six coming off the over.
Kashvee Gautam into the attack. Shafali steps out but the fuller ball lands on her pads. Clipped through backward square leg for a run. Just angling back in to Lanning. Four runs coming off the over.
Starts with a fuller ball which Lanning puts away. Swing and a miss! Plenty of width on it and called wide. Another wide! Shaping just away from Lanning’s outside edge and rolls out another wide ball. Finally gets a run off the bat. Flicks it to deep square.
IF DC chases this down quickly, it could do wonders for its NRR, particularly in a tight battle for the top spot. Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning are at the crease. Deandra Dottin with the ball.

Minnu bowls her third. Gets the ball to dip and Tanuja reaches out enough to get a single. Dropped by Minnu! Had to dive plenty and could not hold on to it. SIX! Pulled just over the fine leg fielder. Bharti still carrying GG’s hope.
Jess Jonassen with the ball. Short, on the stumps, finds a single at fine leg. Moves the length ball past the keeper for two. Just four runs coming off it.

Sutherland. A bouncer that goes high above Bharti, called wide. Another welcome wide after Sutherland’s ball goes way down leg. More welcome runs, a FOUR at that. Four leg byes.
Minnu continues. Fulmali heaves behind fine leg for a single. Tanuja getting creative and scoopt the ball. But no power on it and has to sttle for a single. Bowled on alength, just outside off, Bharti watches closely and defends with soft hands.
Sutherland returns. Dottin gets lucky after the ball takes the bottom edge but misses the stumps on its way to the ropes for FOUR! Dottin getting irked by the no. of dot balls. Not for long though, that’s OUT! Her off-stump is claimed by Sutherland.

Minnu Mani into the attack. Still restricted to singles here. No timing for Tanuja who hits the ball into empty space for one run. Delhi Capitals has ensured that the Giants don’t get a chance to settle in. Executing it perfectly as well.
OUT! GARDNER HAS BEEN CASTLED BY TITAS! GG in big trouble! Takes the inside edge and dislodges the middle stump. DC in firm control.

Titas Sadhu into the attack. Gardner gets a leading edge, take a single. Swing and a miss! Dottin looked to smack one straight over but cannot connect. FOUR! Ball bounces past Jemimah who over ran from deep cover. Titas bowling very wide to Dottin who cannot get enough on it. Settles for a single off the last ball.
Kapp continues. Gardner gets off the mark with a shaky single to backward point. Going down leg and Dottin guides it fine. Fielded in the deep to stop two. FOUR! Slightly short and Dotting thuds it through Gardner’s feet. Lets the last one go.
FOUR! Full from Shikha and Mooney smacks the ball through covers. OUT! Mooney throws her wicket away! Came around the wicket and angled the ball in.
