F1 2025: All you need to know — 24-Race Schedule; Where to watch; Teams, Drivers, Reserves

The 75th season of Formula One kicks off this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix. With a record-equalling 24 races across 21 countries, expect nine months of thrilling action.

Australian GP (March 14-16)

Chinese GP (March 21-23)

Monaco (May 23-25), British GP (July 4-6), Singapore Night Race (October 3-5)

Abu Dhabi GP (December 5-7)

There will be six sprint races in China, Miami, Spa, Austin, São Paulo, and Qatar.

TThere will be 10 teams this season before Cadillac joins as the 11th in 2026.

Ferrari – Leclerc, Hamilton

Mercedes – Russell, Antonelli

McLaren – Norris, Piastri

Aston Martin – Alonso, Stroll

Alpine – Gasly, Doohan

Haas – Ocon, Bearman

Racing Bulls – Tsunoda, Hadjar

Williams – Sainz, Albon

Kick Sauber – Hulkenberg, Bortoleto

Antonelli (Mercedes), Bearman (Haas), Doohan (Alpine), Bortoleto (Sauber)

Though reserve drivers don’t compete during race weekends, they contribute to testing and performance improvement while filling in for the main drivers in special cases like health emergencies, penalties, etc.

Most recently, Indian F2 driver Kush Maini was announced as Alpine’s test and reserve driver, the fourth to be added to its pool ahead of the 2025 season.
