India advances to ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal after New Zealand beats Bangladesh
India on Monday qualified for the semifinals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 after New Zealand beat Bangladesh by five wickets in Rawalpindi.
The Kiwis also sealed a spot in the last-four from Group A with the win. India’s last group-stage game against New Zealand on March 2 will determine which side finishes as the winner of Group A.
The winner of the match will play the team which finishes second in Group B in the semifinal.
This is the sixth edition where the Men in Blue have made it to the semifinals. They advanced to the last-four in 1998, 2000, 2002 2013, and 2017 before this edition. For New Zealand, it will be the fourth semifinals appearance and its first since 2009.
