India vs Australia Highlights, International Masters League T20 semifinal: Yuvraj fifty, Nadeem four-fer help IND beat AUS

A rapid fifty from Yuvraj Singh and a four-wicket haul from Shahbaz Nadeem helped India Masters overcome the Australia Masters by 106 runs in the semifinal of the International Masters League 2025 in Raipur on Thursday. Clear nick on snicko and Billy Bowden’s famed crooked finger seals the match. 

India Masters wins by 94 runs.

Negi with his third. Doherty punches to long off for a single. Six!! Doherty steps down the track and lofts Negi over long on for a six. 

WICKET!! Irfan Pathan with a smile. Slower full ball, Cutting goes downtown but picks out long on. Cutting falls for 39 off 30. McGain gets off the mark with a single. Doherty clears the infield with his shot and picks up a couple.

Negi with his second. Cutting inside edges one onto his own pads. Cutting steps down the ground but is yorked. Rayudu coaxes Sachin into taking a review for lbw. Umpires call and he survives. Cutting swings across the line, goes to midwicket on the bounce. 

Six!! Cutting lofts a short of a length ball from Irfan straight back over his head for six! Six!! In the slot, lofted over long on for another six. Four!! Goes on his haunches and slaps one through midwicket for a boundary. 

Pawan Negi into the attack. WICKET!! O’Keefe looks to hoick one over midwicket, misses the ball completely and sees his stumps rattled. Xavier Doherty in at 10. 

Irfan Pathan into the attack. Six!! Short of a length ball, lofted over midwicket for six! Four!! Cutting guides this one through backward point for a boundary. 

WICKET!! Appeals for lbw as Nadeem traps Hilfenhaus in front. Umpire raises his finger! Fourth wicket for the slow left-arm spinner. O’Keefe in at 9. Nadeem ends with figures of 4/15.

Cutting looks to loft one over long off, goes on the bounce to the fielder in the deep. Four!! Short of a length, flat-batted down the ground for a boundary. 

WICKET!! Nadeem picks up his second! Reardon looks to loft one over long on, can’t cleat the fielder at long on. He falls for 21 off 14. WICKET!! Coulter-Nile goes first ball. Tries to slog one over midwicket, hands a simple catch to Irfan at point. Hilfenhaus is given out lbw on field against Nadeem. Australia reviews. Wickets missing and he survives. 

Binny drops a tough caught and bowled chance. Four!! Reardon whips a short of a length ball through square leg for four. Four!! Reardon moves across and lofts one over short third for four more. Eleven from the over. 

Nadeem with his second. Gurkeerat with an excellent effort at deep midwicket to prevent a boundary. Four!! Yusuf lets an easy ball through his legs at point and Reardon picks up a boundary. 

Stuart Binny into the attack. Christian pushes the first ball to cover for one. Billy Bowden with a fancy wide signal. Quick, silky feet from the veteran umpire. WICKET!! Christian mistimes one and hands a simple catch to cover. Australia losing wickets in a cluster now. 

Shahbaz Nadeem into the attack. WICKET!! Dunk looks to sweep one, top edges it and Rayudu completes a simple catch. 

Dunk gets an outside edge on his attempted slog down the ground, falls in front of Rayudu. Another mistimed shot, the leading edge flies past Vinay. WICKET!! Shaun Marsh finds mid on with his attempted lofted shot. Wicket number two for Vinay. 

Yusuf Pathan into the attack. Four!! Short ball down legside, pulled past short fine for a boundary. Quick single to short square to follow. Six!! Length ball outside off, lofted over backward square leg for six! 

Six!! Ben Dunk smokes one over square leg to start the over on the front foot. Two more fours from the Dhawal over. 16 runs off it. 

Vinay with the second over. Six!! Full on the pads, lofted over midwicket for six! WICKET!! Back of a length outside off, Watson looks to punch, edges it to Negi at short third! 

Ben Dunk in at 3. Gets off the mark with a single. 

Shaun Marsh and Shane Watson open the innings. Dhawal Kulkarni with the new ball. 

Hint of swing, Watson mistimes his cut but it flies on the bounce to deep point for a single. Tight line to Marsh, swinging into the left-hander. Marsh mistimes one through midwicket, will get a couple of runs. Four! A touch too wide, Watson slaps it past cover for a boundary. 

WICKET!! Gurkeerat looks to pull the first ball, top edge is easily pouched at short midwicket. Vinay Kumar picks up a single off his first ball. Irfan picks up a couple to deep midwicket. Yorker outside off, lofted over cover for a couple more. Six!! Irfan tonks the last ball of the innings over the boundary down the ground. India finishes on 220/7 in 20 overs!

Christian returns. WICKET!! Length ball on the stumps, beats Binny’s slog and cleans up the wicket behind him. He falls for 36. Irfan Pathan in at 7. Four!! Gets off the mark with a clever cut shot behind square on the offside. WICKET!! Foxes Yusuf with a slower full ball, traps him in front. Yusuf reviews. Three reds says ball tracking. Gurkeerat in at 8. Four!! Irfan finds the boundary to round the over out with a four. 

Nathan Couler-Nile returns. Four!! Slower ball outside off, pumped over cover for four by Binny. Four!! Inside edge runs away fine to the boundary, luck favouring Binny there. A couple to deep midwicket for Binny. 

Yusuf steals a run after a direct hit at the striker’s end. Looked to guide one past short third man. Four!! Full and wide, Binny lofts it over the cover fielder for a boundary. Six!! Slot ball on the stumps, lofted down the ground for six. Four!! A boundary to close out another expensive over.

Six!! Yusuf gets into the groove with a huge six down the ground against O’Keefe. Yusuf picks up a couple after mistiming one to long off. Six!! Full and wide, clubbed over long on for six more by Binny!

Doherty with his third. Six!! Yuvraj lofts the first ball of the over, above long on for six! WICKET!! Fired in wide outside off, Yuvraj gets a leading edge on his attempted big hit, easily pouched at point. He falls for 59 off 30.

Yusuf Pathan in at 6. 

Hilfenhaus to Binny. Four!! Back of a length outside off, slapped past mid off for a boundary. Short ball, pulled to deep square for one. Yuvraj cuts a wide one to deep cover for a single. Four!! Slower short ball, Binny moves across and lofts one over short fine for a boundary. Binny top edges an attempted pull, Dunk looks to come under it but gets nowhere close to pouching it. 

Bryce McGain into the attack. Six!! Yuvraj welcomes the legspinner with a slog sweep over midwicket. Six!! Full outside off, lofted over wide long on for another six. Slightly down leg, Yuvraj scampers across for a legbye. Six!! Fifty for Yuvraj! Gets there with the third six of the over. 

WICKET!! Sachin moves across and looks to loft one over short fine leg, but hits it straight to the fielder. The Master Blaster falls for a well-made 42. Stuart Binny pulls one to deep square for a single. Hilfenhaus beats Binny with two quick short balls. 

O’Keefe into the attack. Six!! Yuvraj plants his right knee forward and lofts one into the stands at cow corner. Four!! Short outside off, lofted over extra cover for another boundary. Sachin sweeps one to deep square for a single. 

Christian with his second. Yuvraj guides one to deep third for a single after two dots. A slower ball foxes Sachin’s attempted cut shot. Excellent over just four from it. 

Appeals for lbw against Sachin. Doherty and Watson take the review. Sachin looked to paddle one fine through the legside but didn’t make contact. Wickets missing and Australia loses a review. Six!! Full on the stumps, gloriously lifted over the bowler’s head for six!! Four!! Fine leg up in the ring and Sachin brings out the sweep to beat the fielder. 

Dan Christian into the attack. Yuvraj mistimes his legside flick, falls well ahead of the deep fine leg fielder. Tight over from the medium pacer so far. Four!! Slower bouncer, Sachin waits for it and pulls it through square leg for a boundary. 

Xavier Doherty into the attack. Negi guides one to short third for a single. Sachin does likewise for another single. WICKET!! A touch short, Negi looks to loft one downtown but only finds the long on fielder. 

Yuvraj in at 4. Six!! Gets off the mark with a huge six over midwicket!

Coulter Nile with his second. Short of a length, rises and beats Negi’s attempted guide to third man. Four!! This time Negi makes room and cuts one past deep third for a boundary. Appeals for lbw against Negi, not given onfield, a little too high. Four!! Full outside off, driven past mid off for a boundary. Coulter Nile finishes the over with a yorker. 

O’Keefe back from the other end. Negi flicks one to the legside for a single. Sachin moves backward and turns one to deep midwicket for a single. Four!! Negi brings out the sweep and finds the fence at square leg. Mistimed sweep this time, will get a single. Sachin given out LBW but the ball looked to be going down leg. India reviews. Wickets missing and Sachin survives.

Coulter Nile into the attack. Short ball in line with the stump, left alone by Sachin. Back of a length, punched through cover for three by Sachin. Four!! Sachin gives himself room again and cuts another short of a length ball through point for a boundary. Quick single from Negi to mid off. 

Four!! Short and wide from Hilfenhaus, Sachin slashes hard and finds the boundary through third man. Single off the next ball. Negi gets off the mark with a single. Sachin flicks one through square leg for a couple. Down leg, Hilfenhaus concedes five wides. Four!! Width outside off again, cut past backward point for four more. 

O’Keefe from the other end. First ball keeps low and nutmegs the keeper on the way to the boundary! Four byes! Four!! Slight short outside off, guided past short third for a boundary. Fired down leg, two wides. Rayudu rocks back and cuts a couple straight to the fielder. WICKET!! O’Keefe fires in a quick arm ball, beats Rayudu’t attempted cut and crashes into the stumps. 

Sachin and Rayudu walk out to the middle after the national anthems. Hilfenhaus with the ball in hand.

Four!! A hint of movement on a back-of-length ball outside off, Rayudu crunches the cut past point to the boundary. Defends the next one to point for a single. Sachin steps down and punches one to mid off for a single. Rayudu steps down to a shorter one and misses a big heave to the offside.
