Julian Alvarez scored one of the the quickest goals ever in the history of Copa del Rey when he found the net in the opening minute of the match against Barcelona on Tuesday.
The forward took just 43 seconds to break the deadlock when he steered Antoine Griezmann’s corner into the net, following a touch off Clement Lenglet.
It was the 20th goal for the Argentine since joining Atletico Madrid from Manchester City and he continues to prove his worth with an assist for the second goal.
Moreover, it was the third-fastest goal against Barcelona in Copa del Rey in the last 25 years:
