Might not have another Australia tour in me, says Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has dropped a massive hint about his cricketing future suggesting the recently held Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 could have been his last tour to Australia.

The 36-year-old batter didn’t have a memorable five-match series down under where he scored just 190 runs in nine innings at an average of 23.75.

Speaking at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Innovation Lab Indian Sports Summit, Kohli said: “I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past.”

When asked about his post-retirement plans, Kohli admitted he hasn’t planned anything yet. “I actually don’t know what I will be doing post retirement. Recently, I asked a teammate the same question and got the same reply. Yeah, but maybe a lot of travelling.”
