Ranji Trophy 2024-25: Vidarbha’s Yash Rathod finishes as highest run-getter

Vidarbha’s Yash Rathod ended the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 campaign as the highest run-getter for the season.

The middle-order batter accumulated 960 runs at a healthy average of 53.33 in his side’s title-winning run. Rathod tallied five hundreds and three fifties from 10 games for the season.

Rathod was one of the three Vidarbha batters in the top-five run-getters list for the season with Karun Nair and Danish Malewar placed fourth and fifth respectively.

Madhya Pradesh skipper Shubham Sharma finished second behind Rathod, with 943 runs at an incredible average of 104.77 in just seven games.

Hyderabad’ Tanmay Agarwal was the only other batter to go past the 900-run mark in Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season, with the left-handed batter closing up with 934 runs at an average of 77.83.
