Cristiano Ronaldo remains absent from Al Nassr’s matchday squad against Esteghlal for the first-leg of their AFC Champions League Elite Round of 16 clash.
According to media reports, Ronaldo is carrying a bit of fatigue, for which manager Stefano Pioli decided to rest the Portuguese star for the first-leg.
Al-Nassr comes into the clash after finishing third in the AFC Champions League Elite Group B. It was five points behind Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, who are also its Saudi Pro League opponents.
