As the 2025 edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) heads to Mumbai for the final leg of the tournament, Gujarat Giants reignited its campaign with three consecutive wins.

The Ashleigh Gardner-led side’s latest victory against Delhi Capitals in Lucknow to the team to second on the points table, while DC continued to top standings for now despite losing its final league stage match of the season.

On the other end of the table, defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru was knocked out of contention after it lost its penultimate league match against UP Warriorz.

Mumbai Indians faces Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at home before the city hosts the Eliminator and Final next week.
