The Indian men’s hockey team has returned to the National Coaching Camp at SAI, Bengaluru, following a successful Hockey India Annual Awards in New Delhi on Saturday. Hockey India has called up 36 players for the camp, which runs until March 28.

In the FIH Hockey Pro League (Men) 2024-25, India secured five wins in eight matches at home, placing third in the standings (15 points) behind England and Belgium (16 points each).

Chief coach Craig Fulton emphasised the importance of fitness, conditioning, and analysing recent performances:

“It has been a busy season with high-quality matches. This camp will focus on fitness, introspection, and preparation for the European leg of the Pro League. I am eager to see how the fresh talents perform.”
