IPL 2025: Anirudh Ravichander to perform at Chepauk ahead of CSK vs MI

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander will enthrall the Chepauk crowd with his chartbusters ahead of Chennai Super Kings’ opening game against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.

As reported by Sportstar earlier, the Indian Premier League is set to host opening ceremonies across all venues to celebrate the 18th edition of the Twenty20 league.

The 34-year-old, accompanied by a dynamic dance troupe, will perform from 6:30pm to 6:50pm before the second match of IPL 2025 starts at 7:30pm.

“To accommodate fans eager to participate in the festivities, stadium gates will open to the general public from 4:30 PM onwards. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the pre-match celebrations and to facilitate a smooth entry into the venue,” a statement from the franchise read.

Anirudh, last Sunday, became the first to receive the latest book on Chennai Super Kings, ‘Leo—The Untold Story,’ written by former TNCA vice president P.S. Raman, at an event also attended by former skipper M. S. Dhoni, all-rounder R. Ashwin, and former India cricketer C. D. Gopinath.
