The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick off with a grand opening ceremony on Saturday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The ceremony will consist of a star-studded list of celebrities, who will perform on the grand stage ahead of the opening match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, which begins from 7:30 PM IST.
The event will begin with a monologue by KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, and will be followed by performances from singer Shreya Ghoshal, actress Disha Patani and rapper Karan Aujla.
The IPL 2025 Opening Ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 22.
