IPL 2025: Who is Satyanarayana Raju, the Andhra pacer making his debut for MI against CSK?
Andhra pacer Satyanarayana Raju was included in the Mumbai Indians starting lineup against Chennai Super Kings in their Indian Premier League 2025 match on Sunday.
The five-time champion signed the 25-year-old for a base price of Rs. 30 lakh.
Raju made headlines with his performances in the Andhra Premier League 2024. The right-arm fast bowler picked eight wickets in seven matches at an economy of 6.15 for the Rayalaseema Kings.
In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, Raju played seven games for Andhra, claiming seven wickets in as many games at an average of 26.85 and an economy of 8.23.
He also played for the state in the Ranji Trophy during the 2024/25 season. He picked 16 wickets in six games at an average of 30.18.
