KL Rahul, wife Athiya Shetty blessed with baby girl
Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul and his actress-wife Athiya Shetty were on Monday blessed with a baby girl. The couple shared the news via a collaboration post on Instagram.
Rahul and Athiya, on November 8 last year, had announced the pregnancy on social media. The post had read: “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025”.
The cricketer, who joined his Indian Premier League franchise but travelled back home to be with his wife after obtaining special permission, missed the opening game against Lucknow Super Giants. Rahul was acquired by DC for Rs 14 crore at the IPL 2025 auction.
Fans and well-wishers have started to flood the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Athiya, who is Bollywood star Suniel Shetty’s daughter, and Rahul had got married on January 23, 2023.
