Rajasthan Royals will play five of its home matches during the 2025 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
While RR hasn’t dominated overwhelmingly at the venue, it had a good run at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium last season, winning four of the five matches held there.
Additionally, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will host Rajasthan Royals’ first two home matches of IPL 2025.
While teams have chased more successfully at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, as compared to batting first, host Rajasthan Royals has managed to successfully defend totals at the venue in 13 out of 26 matches.
The Sanju Samson-led side has played IPL matches in Guwahati since 2023, but hasn’t had too much success there. Only three games held at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium have had a result so far, with Rajasthan Royals losing two of those contests.
Though the sample size is small, the conditions at the venue have been conducive to scoring runs, with teams crossing the 190-run mark three out of six times.
Meanwhile, the team batting first has won two of the three matches held at the venue, with Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals successfully defending scores of 197 and 199, respectively.
