UEFA Nations League quarterfinal: What is the record of Kylian Mbappe against Croatia?

Kylian Mbappe is set to return to national duty as France takes on Croatia in a UEFA Nations League quarterfinal first-leg clash at the Stadion Poljud in Split on Friday.

Croatia is a special opponent for Mbappe, against which he has scored two goals till now.

His first goal against the Croatians came in the 2018 World Cup final, which etched his name in football history as he became the first teenager to score (65th minute) in a World Cup final since Pele in 1957. France went on to win the match 4-2.

His second goal against Croatia came in a Nations League match in October 2020, where he scored in the 79th minute to help France grab a 2-1 win.

With Mbappe set to skipper the Les Blues side, it remains to be seen whether the Real Madrid forward can better his record against the Croatians.
