Cristiano Ronaldo tops Forbes’ 2025 list of the world’s 50 highest-paid athletes, earning $275 million between May 2024 and May 2025. This marks his third consecutive year leading the rankings and fifth overall.
The top 50 athletes collectively earned a record $4.23 billion, surpassing last year’s $3.88 billion.
Lionel Messi ranks fifth with $135 million.
No female athlete made the list, with Coco Gauff narrowly missing out by $19.2 million. Similarly, no Indian athlete featured in the rankings this year.
