Hansi Flick capped off an incredible debut season at Barcelona as his side clinched the La Liga 2024-25 title on Thursday, after beating Espanyol 2-0 at the RCDE Stadium.

This league title marks the completion of a domestic treble for the Catalan giant this season, following its triumphs in the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona sealed the league with two games to spare and will face Villarreal on May 18 and Athletic Club on May 25.

Barcelona won its 28th La Liga title on Thursday. It last won the title back in 2023, under the management of club legend Xavi.

Coincidentally, Barcelona secured the trophy with a 4–2 away victory over the same opponent, Espanyol, at the same ground.
