IPL 2025: Yuzvendra Chahal picks hat-trick for Punjab Kings against Chennai Super Kings
Punjab Kings spinner Yuzvendra Chahal claimed a hat-trick in his team’s league match against Chennai Super Kings at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday.
The legspinner registered the second hat-trick of his IPL career, removing Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj, and Noor Ahmad in the penultimate over.
Chahal’s first hat-trick came in 2022 when he played for Rajasthan Royals against Kolkata Knight Riders. With this feat, Chahal joins Yuvraj Singh as one of the few players to take two IPL hat-tricks and now sits joint-second on the all-time list. Amit Mishra holds the record with three hat-tricks.
