Ireland names squads for ODI and T20I series against West Indies

Ireland announced the squads for the upcoming One-Day International and T20I series at home against West Indies.

Both the squads will be led by Paul Stirling, and will see a host of new faces. While the 22-year-old top-order batter Cade Carmichael and 24-year-old pacer Tom Mayes have received their maiden call-ups in the ODI squad, fast bowler Liam McCarthy has been named in the T20I lineup.

Ireland, however, will miss experienced pacer Mark Adair during the ODI series, with the right-arm quick likely to return for the T20Is.

The three-match ODI series will begin from May 21 in Clontarf, while the T20Is will start from June 12.
