Rashford expected to miss rest of season with hamstring injury – Report

Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford is expected to miss the rest of the season after sustaining a hamstring injury.

According to a report in the Athletic, the Englishman will undergo tests to determine the severity of the injury but will not undergo a surgery.

Rashford, who is on loan from Manchester United, will miss the remaining four matches in the league.

He was pulled out of the squad for Villa’s FA Cup semifinal defeat to Crystal Palace.

Villa is seventh on the league table with 57 points and is three points off an automatic Champions League spot for next season.
