RR vs GT, IPL 2025: Shubman Gill subbed off; Rashid Khan takes over as stand-in captain
Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill was replaced by Ishant Sharma as an Impact Substitute during an IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals on Monday.
Designated deputy Rashid Khan filled in as the stand-in captain for Titans on the field during the second innings of the game.
Gill was seen in the dug out as the Titans’ players were taking the field in the team’s run defence.
Earlier, Gill had scored a 50-ball 84 to power his side to 209 for four after Titans were inserted by the Royals
