Pakistan will look to do the double over Afghanistan and seal its spot in the final of the ongoing T20 tri-series when the two sides go head to head at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

In the tournament opener, Pakistan had thrashed the Afghans by 39 runs to get its Asia Cup preparations underway on a bright note. It followed it up with a convincing 31-run win over host UAE the next day to notch up two victories in as many games.

Afghanistan, meanwhile, bounced back from the defeat against Pakistan with a 38-run win over UAE to stake its claim for a berth in the summit clash.

If Pakistan beats Afghanistan on Tuesday, it will confirm its spot in the final of the tri-series, which will be played on September 7. In case the Afghans pull off an upset, the race to the final will remain open.
