Alcaraz beats Sinner to win U.S. Open 2025, become World No. 1 again

Carlos Alcaraz defeated defending champion Jannik Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to clinch his second U.S. Open title and reclaim the No. 1 ranking from the Italian in New York on Sunday.

Alcaraz won his maiden Major at Flushing Meadows in 2022 and became the top-ranked player for the first time in his career.

Since then, the Spaniard has also won two titles each at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
