How many times has India won the men’s Hockey Asia Cup?

India won the 2025 men’s Hockey Asia Cup with a 4-1 win over defending champion Korea on Sunday in Rajgir, booking a spot in next year’s World Cup.

Sukhjeet Singh opened the scoring, Dilpreet Singh bagged a brace, and Amit Rohidas also found the back of the goal as India clinched its fourth Asia Cup title.

India won its first Asia Cup title back in 2003 where it beat Pakistan 4-2 in the final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It then defended its title in 2007 to cinch a second continental crown after beating Korea 7-2 in the final held in Chennai.

India’s third Asia Cup title came in 2017 in Dhaka when it beat Malaysia 2-1 in the summit clash.
