IPL 2025: Faf du Plessis, Tristan Stubbs rejoin Delhi Capitals for the rest of season
Delhi Capitals on Saturday confirmed that vice-captain Faf du Plessis (168 runs in six games) and Tristan Stubbs (259 runs in 11 matches) have rejoined the team ahead of the resumption of IPL 2025.
The franchise also said that Australian pacer Mitchell Starc (14 wickets in 11 games) and South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira (one run and 0 wickets in one game) are unavailable. “Delhi Capitals fully respects their decision, and extends its support and best wishes for their continued success,” said the team in an official statement.
Delhi Capitals will face Gujarat Titans in its next fixture at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.
Axar Patel-led Capitals are placed fifth with 13 points after 11 matches.
