Royal Challengers Bengaluru suffered a blow to its hopes of making the top two in the Indian Premier League 2025 after its 42-run loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.

RCB started the game in the second place but the crushing defeat led to a huge drop in its Net Run Rate. It was third after the result.
