IPL 2025: What happens if RCB vs KKR is washed out?

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Kolkata Knight Riders IPL 2025 match is at the risk of getting washed out with rain pouring at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.

With the playoffs race getting close, today’s match result has a big implication. While RCB won’t mind a washout but one point for KKR won’t help it remain in the top four race and will be the fourth team to get eliminated.

Bengaluru is currently second in the table with 16 points in 11 games and a point will take it to the first place but won’t confirm its qualification yet.

Kolkata, fifth in the table with 11 points, will get to 12 points but will only have one league game left which won’t help the side go past 14 points. With Mumbai Indians (14 points in 12 games) and Delhi Capitals (13 points in 11 games) yet to play each other, KKR won’t be able to go past at least one of them.
