RCB vs SRH: Krunal Pandya becomes second batter to be dismissed hit wicket in IPL 2025
Krunal Pandya became the second batter, after Abhinav Manohar, to be dismissed hit wicket in IPL 2025 during Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match in Lucknow on Friday.
Pandya is now the 17th batter overall in the tournament to be dismissed in this fashion.
The incident in the 19th over of the second innings. Facing Pat Cummins, Pandya went deep in the crease trying to play the yorker. However, while playing the shot, his bat hit the stumps instead of the ball. He walked off the field shaking his head, having only scored eight off six balls.
Musavir Khote was the first batter to get out on hit wicket during the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League in 2008.
