Rajasthan Royals registered its highest PowerPlay score during an IPL 2025 game against Punjab Kings in Jaipur on Sunday.
The Royals accumulated 89 runs from the opening six overs, while losing just a single wicket.
Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi laid the platform with a relentless stream of boundaries. The two added 76 runs, before the latter was dismissed in the fifth over.
While Jaiswal smashed nine fours and a six inside the PowerPlay, Suryavanshi carted eight boundaries, including four maximums.
RR’s previous best PowerPlay outing with the bat came earlier this season, when it tallied 87 against Gujarat Titans.
