Which major transfers can we see on deadline day?

With the summer transfer window coming to its end, like every year, clubs that are still looking to strengthen their squad will be rushing with those last-minute deals to secure the signature of their desired players.

We can already see many high-profile late signings with Liverpool set to sign Alexander Isak, while Manchester City is close to securing the services of Champions League winning-goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Ahead of summer transfer deadline day, here are some players who can move right at the end of the window.

It will not be an exaggeration to say that Arsenal has had one of the best transfer windows among all clubs, securing the signature of players like Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, and Eberechi Eze.

The Gunners, whose primary aim would be to challenge for the Premier League title after falling short for the last two seasons, have gone all out to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in the title race.

Despite having a brilliant window, reports suggest that the Gunners will make a late move for Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapie, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, which will be another big addition to their squad.

Raheem Sterling has not had the best of times in the past few seasons. From his exit from Manchester City to trying to solidify his position in Chelsea, it has not really worked out for the English winger.

With Chelsea significantly boosting the strength of its squad in the summer transfer window, it is almost certain that Sterling is not in the plans of Enzo Maresca.

To revive his career and get regular game time, reports suggest that Sterling will make a move to Fulham on deadline day.

This one comes as a surprise because Harvey Elliott was considered to be a long-term project for Liverpool, despite the Reds making big-money signings in the summer transfer window, securing the likes of Alexander Isak (British record transfer fee) and Florian Wirtz, who was signed on a British record transfer fee.

Tottenham Hotspur looks like a rejuvenated team under new manager Thomas Frank. After a disastrous league finish last season, which led to the sacking of Ange Postecoglou despite him guiding the team to the Champions League, the North London club has splashed heavy money in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham has shown a clear intent to challenge the big guns of the Premier League after signing players like Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simmons, and Mathys Tel.

According to the latest reports, Tottenham will make a late move for Randal Kolo Muani. While personal terms have been agreed, it remains to be seen if the North London club can agree on a deal with PSG.

Antony had a complete turnaround after joining Real Betis on loan from Manchester United last season. From losing his form at the English club, he turned into a prolific goalscorer at Betis.

Ahead of the new season, a permanent move to Betis seemed certain for the Brazilian, but the move got stalled on Friday, with the Spanish club citing wage issues. It looked like the move would not happen. However, on deadline day, transfer talks are underway with Betis set to pay €25 million to United for the Brazilian’s services.
